The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Berlin is hereby calling quotations from the forwarding companies for the heavy baggage of one of the Home Based officers of this Embassy, to be transported from his residence in Berlin-Zehlendorf to the port of Colombo, Sri Lanka. The quotation should include charges in relation to packing, insurance and transportation of the heavy baggage for a 20 feet container.

The 4th German – Asian Business Dialogue was held on 5 June 2019 at the Alliance Forum in Berlin. Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister and Minister of Ports and Shipping Sagala Ratnayaka, attended the Dialogue as a special guest and was a panellist at the Minister’s Dialogue on ‘Building Bridges between Europe and Asia: Chances and Challenges of Free Trade in a Changing World’.

Ambassador Eng. Karunasena Hettiarachchi hosted a reception at his official residence on 10 June 2019 in honour of the two German volleyball teams who have confirmed their visit to Sri Lanka in August to participate in a few friendly encounters with Sri Lankan volleyball teams.

The Export Development Board of Sri Lanka (EDB), in coordination with the delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Sri Lanka (AHK Sri Lanka), Sri Lanka Embassy in Berlin and the Sri Lanka Consulate in Frankfurt, organized a pavilion at the Transport Logistics Fair 2019, one of the most significant industry platforms in Germany for logistics and transport. The pavilion showcased the expertise of Sri Lanka in efficient cargo handling and its further potential as a logistics hub.
